Green breakfast smoothie

Here is my recipe for my new favourite green smoothie.

1 bunch kale

1 banana I used 2 small ladyfinger banana’s

1 cup frozen blueberries

1 green apple

1 small cucumber

1 heaped teaspoon acai powder

1 heaped teaspoon spirulina

1 heaped teaspoon mesquite

1 cup coconut juice- I had some drinking coconuts in the fridge so I used one. Alternately you could use coconut water or filtered water.

Note: you could also add some good quality protein powder such as vital greens pea protein.

Place all ingredients in Thermomix or high speed blender and whizz until combined.


Whilst it may not be the most appetising colour, I can assure you that it tastes delicious.
